It also connects power cables to box-type transformers, load switch cabinets, and ring network power supply units, providing tapping, branching, relaying, or conversion functions.

It is highly adaptable to various environments, resisting dust, moisture, flooding, and corrosion. Flexible configurations accommodate various wiring requirements. Furthermore, it features a compact structure, small size, minimal footprint, and simple installation.

The rated voltage is generally 35kV, with 40.5kV also available. Common rated currents include 200A, 400A, 630A, 1000A, and 1250A. The rated frequency is 50Hz. The number of cable branch circuits is 2-6. The rated dynamic stability current (peak) is 50kA. The rated lightning impulse withstand voltage is 185kV. The power frequency withstand voltage (1 minute) is 95kV.

Altitude not exceeding 2000m; operating temperature between -30°C and +40°C, with a daily average relative humidity not exceeding 95% and a monthly average not exceeding 90%; no frequent severe vibration; wind speed not exceeding 34m/s; no significant contamination from corrosive or flammable gases, water vapor, or other pollutants.
