1. Product introduction

   The composite insulator consists of three parts: an insulating core rod, a silicone rod glue umbrella sleeve and a connecting tool at both ends.
   The insulating core rod is the abbreviation of the epoxy resin glass fiber pull rod. It is the skeleton of the composite insulator, which
plays multiple roles such as supporting the umbrella sleeve, inner insulation, connecting the two ends of the metal, and withstand mechanical loads. It has a high tensile strength, generally up to more than 600Mpa, twice that of ordinary steel and 5 to 8 times that of porcelain. It has good dielectric properties and
chemical corrosion resistance, as well as good bending fatigue resistance, creep resistance and impact resistance. The silicone rubber umbrella cover mainly plays a role in protecting the core rod, blocking rain and snow, increasing creepage distance and product external
insulation. It is made of polymer silicone rubber as the matrix, supplemented by flame retardant, anti-aging agent, coupling agent and other fillers by high temperature and high pressure vulcanization, which has good hydrophobicity
and mobility, as well as good corrosion resistance, aging resistance, electrical insulation and other properties. It also has high fouling flash voltage and crushing resistance, and has a uniform voltage distribution. Compared with porcelain, its flashover voltage is more than twice that of porcelain under
the same conditions.
The composite insulators produced by our company are made of special steel. The ends of the metal are made of labyrinth design principles, multi-layer protection, and good sealing performance, which solves the most critical problem
of the insulator - electrical breakdown of the interface. The connection between the metal tool and the mandrel adopts the most advanced computer-controlled coaxial constant pressure crimping process in the world, and is equipped with a fully automatic acoustic emission flaw detection
detection system, ensuring the reliability and stability of the connection between the metal tool and the mandrel. The mandrel uses ERC high-temperature acid-resistant rod, and the interface between the mandrel and silicone rubber is coated with a special coupling agent. The umbrella
cover adopts a one-time overall molding process under high temperature and high pressure, and cooperates with the computer-monitored second-stage vulcanization process to extend the service life of the product. Excellent production equipment and manufacturing processes,
complete testing equipment and testing methods ensure that all technical indicators of the product meet relevant domestic and international standards, becoming a new generation of insulators for high-voltage transmission and transformation lines.

4. Product performance characteristics

   It is small in size and light in weight. It is about 1/5 to 1/9 of porcelain insulators of the same voltage grade, making it easy to transport and install.
   The composite insulator has high strength, reliable structure, stable performance, and large safe operation margin, providing guarantees for lines and safe operation.
   The composite insulator has excellent electrical performance, silicone rubber umbrellas have good water repellency and migration, good stain resistance, strong anti-fouling ability, can operate safely in heavily
polluted areas, and do not require manual cleaning, and can be maintained without zero measurement value.
   Composite insulators have the characteristics of acid and alkali resistance, heat aging resistance and electrical resistance, good sealing performance, and can ensure that the internal insulation is not damp.
   The composite insulator has good anti-brittle properties and strong shock resistance, so there will be no brittle breakage accidents.
   Composite insulators are interchangeable and can be used interchangeably with insulators such as porcelain.


5. Metal crimp monitoring technology

   The crimping process of the metal tools is monitored by acoustic emission detection technology. This technology was previously only used in scientific research and testing in the aerospace field. Its sensitivity can distinguish the fracture of several
glass fibers, and the audio-optical alarm device ensures that the crimping quality is foolproof. It also adopts excellent coaxial constant pressure technology. Compared with stroke positioning control,
it can overcome the unstable crimping quality caused by the size error of the metal. It is currently the most advanced crimping method in the world.


6. Superior umbrella cover characteristics

   Excellent silicone rubber formula, excellent single-use molding technology and secondary vulcanization process make the product have irreplaceable
advantages compared with traditional ceramic insulators.
